Project Goal:
Design a standardized robotic pick cell in partnership with AutoStore to automatically fulfill items from AutoStore ports into outbound bins and boxes for retail distribution centers.
My Responsibilities:

Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for the mechanical architecture, design, and standardization of robot pedestal weldments, perception bridges, and cell safety enclosures.

Designed weldments, extruded aluminum structures, and complex sub-assemblies in SolidWorks.

Modeled facility layouts in AutoCAD to verify spatial constraints, maintenance clearances, and customer floor integration.

Worked cross-functionally with software engineers to optimize sensor field-of-view while compacting the total cell footprint.
