Project Goal:

Design a cordless vacuum with new features to improve customer satisfaction with their purchase. Focused on using technologies that could improve overall cleaning and user satisfaction.

My Responsibilities: ​​

• Created Edge Detect and Light Detect programs using an Arduino Microcontroller 

  • Utilized off the shelf sensors to quickly prototype desired features and functions utilizing an existing vacuum that was on the market​

  • Optimized sensor locations and reduced the amount of sensors required to detect an wall

  • Created work instructions on how to reproduce prototype
